Installation

Installing AxROI on your server is very easy. You can get AxROI up and running in a few minutes.

Detailed installation instructions

1. Download the installation files from our web server and decompress the downloaded file. You should see the following folder:
   
   
   
   Upload the axroi folder to your web server.
   
   
2. Open the uploaded axroi directory on your web server with your FTP client and CHMOD settings.php, category.txt and the csv folder to 777. Click here if you don't know how to do this.
   
   Change the file permissions to CHMOD 755 when AxROI has been configured and is running on your server.
   
   
3. Enter http://www.your-domain.com/axroi/config.php in your web browser (replace your-domain.com with your own domain name). You should see the following web page:
   
   
   
   Enter the URL of your web site in the first edit field and your email address in the second edit field. AxROI needs your email address so that it can send you your password if you forget it.
   
   
4. Click the Next >> button to proceed to the next configuration page:
   
   
   
   Enter your MySQL database information in these edit fields and you're done. If you don't know what to enter in these edit fields, ask your web host for your MySQL information. Enter axroi_ in the edit field for the table prefix.
   
   
5. Click the Next >> button and you're done.

You can now login to AxROI by going to http://www.your-domain.com/axroi (replace your-domain.com with your own domain name).

• Login name: admin
• Username: password

You can change that information later. Delete the config.php file from your web server after configuring AxROI.
