The settings page

The settings page allows you to change the basic settings in AxROI. Click the Settings panel on the top of any AxROI page to open the settings page:

• 1. Login information
  This section allows you to change your username and password. You should change the default username and password after installing AxROI so other people cannot access your stats.
  
  
• 2. Database information
  You should not change this information if you don't want to change your database. These edit fields are only for very web savvy webmasters who want to create custom solutions with AxROI. In general, you can ignore these edit fields.
  
  
• 3. Miscellaneous
  The path to your script should show your web site URL. The contact address is the email address to which AxROI will send your login information when you have lost it. The cookie time determines how long the cookie is valid.
  
  AxROI can track conversions as long as a cookie is valid. For example, if the cookie is valid for 365 days and a surfer clicks on your tracking link on 12 February 2006 then AxROI can track all conversions of that surfer until 12 February 2007.
  
  
• 4. Email notification
  Tick these checkboxes if you want to be informed when a conversion occurs. Enter the email address to which the notifications should be sent in the edit field below the checkboxes.
  
  
• 5. Language
  The language box allows you to change the language in which the AxROI pages will be displayed. AxROI currently supports English and German. If you want to translate AxROI to your language, please drop us a line.

The Clean database section at the bottom of the page allows you to delete parts of the database. This might be necessary if your database is full or if you have so much data in your database that AxROI runs slowly. In general, you don't have to delete any data for months (or even years).

Be very careful when deleting information. The operation cannot be undone.
